We are sorry to inform you that the 2020 AHCDC Annual General Meeting, which was scheduled for May 28-30, 2020, has been cancelled due to the evolving impact of coronavirus on the medical health care system. Given the rapid spread and on-going uncertainty of COVID-19 risk, the AHCDC feels it prudent to take this precautionary step understanding the travel restrictions recommended by your hospitals as well as to keep our community safe.
We advise our members who have already booked their travel for the meeting to:
- Contact all travel providers (e.g., airline, car rental) and hotel to enquire about a refund or credit. Just a reminder that this year you would have booked your own hotel room (different from prior years).
- If credit is available, individuals should track and manage this credit to apply towards future travel.
- If charges were/are incurred on personal credit cards, a travel reimbursement form should be completed per standard policy.
