We are pleased to announce that, effective September 21, 2026, AHCDC has officially adopted a new name:
Association of Hemostasis Clinic Doctors of Canada / Association des Médecins en Hémostase du Canada (AHCDC/AMHC)
During a virtual meeting held on September 21, 2026, AHCDC Full Members unanimously supported the name change. The new name better reflects the evolving scope of the Association, as well as the broader roles, expertise, and areas of practice represented by our membership across Canada.
While our name is changing, we are pleased to retain the familiar AHCDC acronym in English, with AMHC representing the Association in French.
This change represents an exciting next chapter for the Association while maintaining our continued commitment to collaboration, education, research, and excellence in hemostasis care across Canada.
